Your tasks
- active interaction and coordination of purchasing tasks between purchasing, R&D and project management
- taking care about purchasing parts in new projects from engineering phase till serial purchasing hand over
- monitoring and controlling of the project budget for purchased components (tools + parts)
- taking care of in-time, in-quantity and in-quality supply for purchasing parts
- participating in project kick offs and project reviews
- taking care of master data set up in SAP system for purchasing components
- providing necessary KPI`s for project purchasing frequently
- creating project related purchasing planning incl. quote comparisons for nomination decisions
- contract preparation and contracting + price negotiation with suppliers for goods, tools, services.
- ordering and coordination for initial samples
- make or buy analysis
- participation on supplier audits and internal procurement audits
- purchasing internal interaction with strategic purchasing, serial purchasing and supply chain management
- interaction with other Kiel plants
Your profile
- English language skills fluently in writing and speaking
- German language skills are a benefit
- Knowledge on quality requirements and processes
- Experienced in contract and price negotiations with international suppliers
- Knowledge in logistics and stock keeping
- Knowledge in customs clearance
- Knowledge in reading and understanding technical drawings
- Flexibility and structured work style
- Personal initiative and team spirit
- Computer literate, especially Excel skills
- Preferable SAP software knowledge
